Having braces put on is done in a number of steps. The following pictures show you the steps that occur on that day. The appointment to have the braces put on takes one to two hours. There is no discomfort involved with having braces put on, therefore, it is not necessary for our office to use anesthesia. As you can see by our patient's smile in the last photograph, getting braces can be fun!
