Emergency?

There is someone on call between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, seven days per week. On weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) our phone is monitored three times a day.

In case of an emergency, you may call our office at any time and leave a message. A technician will return your call as soon as possible.

Our office phone numbers are (206) 935-2414 and (206) 575-1194. You may use either number.

Common emergencies and what you can do to help yourself:

Poking Wires

You may try pressing a piece of wax onto the poking wire or, using a pencil eraser, press wire toward your teeth. You may also use nail clippers to snip the wire.

Broken Brackets

In case of discomfort, roll a piece of wax into a ball and press around the broken bracket. Please call our office to schedule an appointment to have it repaired.

Broken/Lost Retainers

Call office as soon as possible to have a new retainer made. There may be a charge for a new retainer.

Important Note:

If the emergency involves trauma to the teeth, i.e. fractured or broken front teeth, call your general dentist or go to the emergency room of the nearest hospital.
